Diana Constable, Impressionist.

Personal Statement
I am more of a colorist using bold colors like the French Fauvist painters of the early 20th century. I do not draw the image first, but simply start the paintings with blocks of underpainting and rough images on canvas. I love colorful subjects and is known for her vivid roosters, egrets, grape paintings and bold abstracts.
